Parking

On street parking can be found close by, with free parking (after 6pm) in Mt Victoria and Pay and display parking along Kent and Cambridge Terrace. There are also plenty of paid parking options

Care Park - Courtenay Central
Car parking is available for casual parking seven days a week, beneath and alongside Te Papa off Cable Street. $3.00 per hour to a maximum of $8.00 (after 6pm) Click here for further information.

Barnett Street Car Park
150 bays located on the corner of Cable and Barnett streets, this car park offers Day rates (Mon - Fri) casual day, night and weekend rates.
Weekend/Evening/Public Holiday Rate - $6.00 per day

The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa
Car parking is available for casual parking seven days a week, beneath and alongside Te Papa off Cable Street.
$3.50 per hour to a maximum of $20.00. If you arrive after 5pm the maximum fee is only $6. Click here for further information.
